Too many children start school without enough exposure to the basic foundations of literacy and numeracy, leaving them feeling overwhelmed or disengaged during class time.
Little Learners School Readiness is a school readiness program that can help overcome these early signs of literacy struggle and make your child’s transition to school life as happy and easy as possible. Our group sessions for 3-5-year-olds, will teach your little learner a range of social and behavioural skills to help them excel within a classroom environment.
With a focus on literacy and numeracy, your child will be introduced to:
Early reading strategies
Sound and letter recognition
Relative word recognition
Fine motor control – pencil grip
Letter formation and handwriting
Counting
Number recognition
Simple math language

Fun, colorful, and active sessions for 3-4 year olds. Children will engage in activities to boost fine and gross motor skills.
Designed for Prep children who need extra support with literacy skills and reinforcing previous knowledge
Children enhance fine motor skills and improve literacy to feel prepared for Prep. Numeracy games improve listening skills and the capacity to follow instructions

About Little Learners…
With a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and 20 years of teaching experience, our founder, Miss Elicia, started Little Learners to address school readiness concerns among parents. Inspired by her children and a passion for early learning, she started with just one student in August 2017 and has since nurtured a thriving community.
Little Learners aims to ensure a smooth transition into Prep by enhancing Kindergarten learning with foundational literacy, numeracy, and fine motor skills. Our classes prioritise social skills and independence, creating a dynamic environment of movement, colour, and fun to foster confident, capable learners.
