Our Classes
At Little Learners School Readiness, we know that every child’s first steps into school should feel joyful, confident, and meaningful. Our classes are educator‑led, intentionally structured, and play‑based, helping children aged 3 to 5 build the foundational skills they need to thrive as they move into Prep and early school years.
Across our sessions, children engage in fun, hands‑on learning that strengthens essential literacy and numeracy foundations, enhances fine and gross motor development, and nurtures social, emotional and classroom‑ready skills — all in a supportive environment that celebrates curiosity and confidence.
School Readiness
Our core School Readiness classes focus on developing key early literacy skills such as letter and sound recognition, early word work, and handwriting readiness, as well as early numeracy concepts through playful games and activities. These sessions are designed to help children get comfortable with listening, following instructions, group routines, and taking risks with their learning — all skills that make the transition into Prep smoother and more successful..
School Readiness Boost
This condensed “hour of power” version of our main class gives children a focused boost in literacy, numeracy and classroom‑ready skills, perfect for those already attending kindergarten who want to feel even more prepared and confident.
Big Little Learners
Designed for children entering Prep or needing extra support, this session builds on existing literacy knowledge and extends early reading, writing and sound work in a small group setting where confidence grows with each activity.
Busy Little Hands
Early writing and coordination are supported through creative movement and fine and gross motor activities — because developing hand muscles and physical confidence lays the foundation for strong handwriting and classroom independence.

At Little Learners School Readiness, we believe every child’s first step into learning should be full of confidence and curiosity.
Although we run our classes from the cozy space inside Bright and Early Books, we’re a separate, independent business, here to offer fun, educator-led sessions that help kids build confidence, learn new skills, and develop a love of learning.
We also have a lovely, light-filled space in Kalinga, so families can choose the location that suits them best.
Class is led by qualified teachers, with the support of her friendly assistant all with valid blue cards. Together, we create a personalized, hands-on learning experience that grows with your child, supporting their strengths and interests every step of the way.
